The Video Production Specialist is responsible for the production of video livestream and managing the conversion process for live virtual events to on-demand self-study products. Responsible for editing and post-production of virtual recordings and other audio/video projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate audio, video, and technology equipment to produce top quality virtual events and audio events.
Act as videographer, director, crew, and editor, in the classroom, studio and remote locations, precisely following established processes and checklists.
Set up, test, and troubleshoot real-time equipment, streaming and other technical issues.
Responsible for utilization and maintenance of all A/V equipment.
Coordinate with conference coordinators on scheduling and requirements for livestream setup process.
Interact with staff across multiple levels and departments within the organization to create high quality video productions.
Oversee and manage podcast platform – generating new weekly podcasts. Assist with content recording, editing, and uploading. Work with Sr. Leadership and Management to schedule podcasts, coordinate interviews and post and promote podcasts.
Manage the timely conversion of live virtual events to on-demand self-study products. Two-week turnaround.
Maintain, monitor, and track status of on-demand conversion schedule.
Collaborate and coordinate with the Sr Director of Learning and thought leaders to ensure timely development, review and edit of the on-demand self-study exam questions.
Coordinate with conference and virtual learning coordinators for set up in the database.
Produce instructional content containing video, power points, instructor bio, questions, and final exam.
Rapidly learn new company technologies for producing online education events, as well as utilize video editing software (Adobe Premier Elements) to create a wide range of projects, ranging from interviews to podcasts, to company videos and promotional spots.
Serve as primary relationship contact with third party technology providers.
Respond to member issues before, during and after virtual events, as well as staff customer service issues.
Assist the FICPA with other duties needed to help drive the vision of the FICPA, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.
Day trips and/or overnight travel required, including extended work hours based on event schedule.
Experience and Education:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public relations, film, or a related field.?
At least two years related work experience for a professional organization.
Strong editing and post-production skills.
Experience with A/V equipment.
An experienced relationship builder that can foster collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders to address the needs of all parties.
Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office and other computer applications/databases (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe).
Intermediate to advanced experience with virtual learning platforms (GoToWebinar, Zoom)
Knowledge of continuing professional education, the CPA profession, and accounting firms.?
Strong project management skills and strict attention to detail.
Demonstrate ability to quickly acquire new skills and learn new technologies.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, exercise judgment, and make reasoned decisions and multi-task.
Ability to multitask and coordinate multiple events simultaneously.
Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, who effectively conveys ideas.
