The Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD) is seeking a qualified candidate for the one-year, fixed-term position of Program Associate. The primary responsibilities for the position include: coordinating a variety of programs and events; developing marketing strategies to promote programs; and planning activities and events to support marketing strategies. The Program Associate will serve as the principal administrative liaison and be responsible for the ongoing coordination of select programs and projects.
The Program Associate will provide direct support to the Centerâs director on event/program strategy and implementation, and will also work closely with other functions at CPD to build relationships with leaders and organizations in the public diplomacy community.
The minimum education is a Bachelorâs degree with three to five years of experience in project and programming management, preferably in an academic or nonprofit environment. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and prior experience with event-presentation platforms are critical requirements for this position. Candidate must have a strategic mindset and be highly organized, entrepreneurial, and adaptable.
