Associate Consultant & Product Specialist, JCA Arts Marketing
Salary: $60,000 to $70,0000
As the Associate Consultant & Product Specialist, you are a member of the Arts Marketing team, which helps arts and cultural organizations optimize revenue, attendance, and audience engagement using data-driven strategies. You work with other Arts Marketing consultants to deliver top-notch consulting to clients, and ensure that clients derive the most value out of JCA’s products, including the Revenue Management Application (RMA) and Arts Engine Platforms (AEP). Your passion for business intelligence and ability to translate data into a story ensures that our clients can apply your advice.
Provide clients with excellent counsel on data-driven strategies to grow audience and revenue, utilizing JCA’s tools and resources.
Be an expert on front-end use of the Revenue Management Application (RMA) and Audience Engine Platforms (AEP) in order to train and coach clients on the use of these products.
Support other JCA consultants on projects related to revenue management, audience research, Tessitura support, and marketing or ticketing strategy.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the arts and culture industry, pricing, and audience behavior to provide state-of-the-art guidance to clients.
Manage the RMA and Segmentation Engine install and uninstall processes.
Act as the support lead for the RMA and AEP to ensure client success with the products, including answering and assigning support tickets.
Organize internal documentation, processes, and tasks related to RMA and AEP project management, project support, and business development.
Act as a liaison between JCA’s partners at Baker Richards, JCA’s engineers, and Tessitura for projects related to the RMA and AEP, including client installations and product upgrades.
Keep up-to-date knowledge of Tessitura Software and other CRM software for the arts.
Sales & Marketing
Maintain long-term, ongoing relationships with clients.
Upsell current clients on products and services that will help them achieve their objectives.
Act as a product evangelist, helping promote awareness and understanding of the RMA and AEP.
Develop content (such as blogs, whitepapers, and webinars) for promotional purposes.
Develop and maintain RMA user content.
Attend conferences and industry events to develop opportunities for JCA.
You are successful as the Associate Consultant & Product Specialist because you:
display superior analysis and problem-solving skills;
have knowledge of Tessitura functionality, especially ticketing and marketing functionality;
can successfully manage multiple priorities and timelines;
work collaboratively in a team;
provide excellent service and long-term client cultivation;
are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal; and
have a deep understanding of the nonprofit arts and culture sector.
You are qualified for the position because you:
have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a ticketing or marketing department for an arts and culture organization; and
have a minimum of one year’s experience working in Tessitura software, specifically with marketing and ticketing functionality.
You have an advantage in the position if you:
have experience in querying SQL;
have experience in CRM or marketing consulting;
have product management or development experience; and/or
have experience in additional ticketing CRMs such as Spektrix, Patron Manager, or AudienceView.
You may be required to:
work remotely from a home office or other remote space;
work 40 hours per week, as this is a full-time position;
travel at least four times per year; and
remain in a stationary position for the majority of an eight-hour workday.
