EMPLOYER RELATIONS COORDINATOR , Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program (UPOP) , to assume an integral position as part of a yearlong professional development program for sophomores which is focused on building skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving with support from UPOP's unique community of industry mentors, employer partners, program alumni, and dedicated staff. Will serve as primary liaison for the industry relations program, cultivating relationships and identifying career opportunities with corporate, nonprofit, and public sector employers; execute all aspects of employer program delivery and on-campus recruitment efforts of UPOP students; coordinate all employer job internship requests and identify and communicate/disseminate internship opportunities for students; recruit employer volunteers and guest speakers; advise current students and alumni about job and internship searches; and implement UPOP's corporate sponsorship and industry fund-raising initiative. Will work under the supervision of the senior program manager.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in a related field; at least two years of career services experience; experience managing data and events; understanding of career counseling; success building relationships with hiring managers and recruiters; effective fund-raising skills; excellent communication, public speaking, and organizational skills; attention to detail; self-motivation; ability to work both independently and cooperatively; proven success working as a member of a team; discretion and judgment with confidential information and/or issues; and strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office. PREFERRED : master's degree in related field; proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software; and student career advising background. Job #20218-6
