New York University, Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Experiential Learning in the Office of Student Engagement. The Associate Director will strategically develop, implement, and evaluate experiential learning initiatives across the Stern School with a particular focus on Undergraduate student population (e.g., Stern’s new Business, Technology and Entrepreneurship, BTE program) including student-driven projects with startups, SMEs, nonprofits and faculty, simulations, and corporate immersion visits. The Associate Director will partner with faculty to support several targeted experiential learning courses with primary focus on student learning and building external business relationships and internal partnerships. In addition, the Associate Director will partner with Stern's broader Experiential Learning team to execute and plan experiential learning course opportunities geared for MBA and Executive audiences. The Associate will track key metrics and present recommendations for new programs and improvements to existing ones as well as partner with leadership to implement initiatives relating to the school’s goal of having deep connections with industry worldwide that yield a transformational educational experience for our students.
The selected candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (MBA or master’s degree preferred) and 5 years relevant professional level experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience in an educational service business that requires managing multiple tasks/projects, working with external parties, and satisfying multiple high-level constituencies. A proven ability to cultivate relationships, launch new educational initiatives, along with excellent project management, networking, and verbal and written communication skills are required.
