What you'll do:
Copywriting and Content Creation
Develop and manage communications promoting RSNA initiatives, campaigns and brand management.
Collaborate with Content Strategy and Marketing teams and internal stakeholders to understand audiences, media, goals and key messages for assigned projects.
Tailor messages to multiple channels and media types, including advertisements (print, digital and social media), email, websites, direct mail, signage, social media, brochures, newsletters (print and digital) and letters.
Write compelling, factually accurate and grammatically correct SEO-optimized copy, including engaging headlines, taglines and calls to action.
Work collaboratively with graphic designers, email marketing managers, UI and UX staff to formulate messaging hierarchy and optimize copy for print and digital pieces.
Develop targeted email messages for segmented audiences, provide samples for A/B testing of copy, evaluate results and refine copy as appropriate.
Prepare scripts for presentations, call campaigns, videos and tutorials as needed.
Review & Editing
Use insights and best practices to construct high-quality messages that support the Society's mission and goals.
Help maintain quality control of content by serving as a proofreader on projects as assigned.
Act as brand steward, maintaining organizational voice, style and brand standards in all communications.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in communications, integrated marketing communications, journalism, English, PR or equivalent experience
3+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing communications environment
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills; previous experience with AP style and in-house style guides; sharp attention to detail for grammar, spelling, punctuation and accuracy a must.
Ability to write compelling, concise promotional copy in active voice including sales messages to B2B and B2C audiences.
Experience writing for various channels and diverse audiences. Talent for organizing disparate ideas into cohesive messages.
Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Ability to think strategically and use institutional knowledge, best practices to develop copy aligned with the objectives of the organization.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and react quickly to new or changing information. Thrives in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Ability to summarize medical research in lay language.
Previous health care writing and/or association experience a plus.
