Navopache Electric Cooperative is searching for an individual to fill the full-time, senior management position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO is responsible for the financial activities, develops financial strategies, executes financial reporting, and supervises staff members to meet directives of the cooperative. The CFO monitors internal control systems, both financial and administrative, to provide adequate safeguarding of assets. The CFO is responsible for the planning, direction, coordination, review and monitoring of all financially related policies and procedures. This position actively participates in the strategic planning and execution of financial processes and procedures of various systems across the cooperative. The CFO reports to the CEO -Vice President.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline is required.
Current Registration as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Arizona or ability to obtain within six months of hire through reciprocity.
Previous Job Experience:
Minimum of 10 years progressively responsible management experience. Experience working in the electric utility industry is preferred.
A working knowledge of accounting software is preferred.
