The Appraisal Institute (AI) is seeking a Coordinator, Appraiser Diversity Initiative, to provide comprehensive support to our Appraiser Diversity Initiative (ADI), part of our Government Relations team, serving as a liaison between several internal departments and our ADI core partner organizations to ensure we meet our program goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Administer and maintain ADI program information within AI’s association management system, NetForum
Onboard scholarship recipients to the ADI program to successfully complete entry level appraiser education
Coordinate sponsorship requests with ADI core partners
Fulfill orders for course materials, texts, and publications for scholarship recipients
Perform all administrative duties such as registering scholarship recipients for courses, act as a concierge for course rescheduling and examination retakes, and process reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses
Coordinate ADI in-person and virtual workshops with core partner organizations and sponsors
Track scholarship recipient progress towards obtaining appraiser trainee credentials
Ensure ADI website is up to date
Track and report on key program metrics
Respond to inquiries on the ADI program
WHO YOU ARE/WHAT YOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication skills
1+ years of project management experience
Proactive attitude with the humility that allows you to ask for help when needed
Association database (NetForum) preferred

Job location: Chicago or Washington D.C. area preferred; partially remote for now with 10% travel requirements post pandemic.
