Trupanion is seeking an organized, efficient, and diligent Facilities Associate to join the Facilities Team at our Seattle Headquarters location! You will handle all our outgoing and incoming shipping, and letter mail to support our business. Our ideal candidate will be folks who have high attention to detail, strong communication skills, deliver excellent customer service, and are shown, self-starters.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Oversees & maintains mailroom services including courier services
Process all incoming & outgoing mail, includes sorting, internal delivery, operating postage metering machine, applying postage, and meeting pick-up schedules for US Mail and FedEx
Finds opportunities for improvement and efficiencies of processes
Provide guidance and best solution options for various mailing needs within the company and answers all postal questions for staff members requiring assistance
Pay invoices providing allocation reports to Finance for tracking purposes
Performs tasks related to the maintenance of office and postal equipment, calling in vendors for support as needed
Performs various Facilities related tasks and requests as assigned
Drive and Operate company vehicles as required
Education, Registration & Certification:
High School graduate or equivalent required
1-3 years relevant experience (mailroom and work ticketing system experience preferred)
Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, or insurability
Clean driving record for the last 5 years
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills
Customer service oriented with a "you got it" approach
Proficiency in Microsoft suite with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology
Regularly walk, stand, stoop, climb, kneel and crouch, along with frequently lift, carry, push and pull objects weighing up to 40 pounds independently
