Position Purpose: The Partner Sales Manager/Coordinator is responsible for supporting TSS’s partner organization (B2B) sales pipeline and process including school districts, independent schools, educational nonprofits and other mission-aligned organizations. The ideal candidate for this role will use their sales and project management skills to help the Partner Sales Director build and maintain a steady partner pipeline. The Partner Sales Manager/Coordinator helps nurture and service strong relationships with appropriate partner representatives and and other key stakeholders involved in the decision-making process. The role requires a systems-thinker with strong customer service experience and attention to detail to successfully support the sales process from prospective partner inquiries, lead follow-up and particular focus and emphasis on contract completion. The Partner Sales Manager/Coordinator reports on progress for achieving goals through Salesforce, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree preferred • Experience in serving non-profit organizations or educational institutions • Sales experience preferred and will consider transferrable marketing, business development and other related skills • Ability to implement sales plans and manage projects autonomously • Experience with CRM systems (ie. Salesforce), Google Apps, and presentation software • Client-focused, innovative, solutions-focused, and team-oriented • Strong communicator from cross-department to external stakeholder audiences • Effective time management and organizational skills, detail oriented • Ability to work well in collaboration with a variety of individuals in a mid-size, fast-paced organization
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: • Able to write / type / communicate • Able to sit/stand at a desk for up to 8 hours • Primarily based at the Jackson Campus of Teton Science Schools with potential meetings/interactions/work on all campuses locations • Remote candidates considered
Responsibilities: 40% Partner / Client Service • Monitor and manage the lead and inquiry pipelines leveraging systems and tools (CRM, data reporting, sales call sheets, etc.) • Develop and maintain excellent collaborative relationships with current and prospective clients • Support the stewardship of prospective clients from inquiry to closing • Provide exceptional partner client service via omni-channel communications • Advocate and champion for partners internally • Identify prospects and trends using available data and through self-driven market research • Develop client survey and data collection tools to inform sales process that leads to pipeline growth and increasing close rates • Conduct partner tours and other prospective sales engagement as requested • Represent TSS at internal and external events.
25% Sales Operations • Ensure accurate client information, opportunity data, and service details in our CRM database • Work with Partner Sales Director to refine and consistently execute on sales workflow with particular focus on hand-off from sales to program area leads • Participate in meetings with CBO and Partner Sales Director to review pipeline, sales forecasting, efficiencies and areas of process improvement • Act as a liaison between sales, registration/business systems and accounting • Assist with other sales and market research duties as assigned to support the CBO team and program areas of TSS.
25% CRM Support • Regularly review and audit of CRM to ensure accuracy, status and workflow management of sales inquiries, leads and contacts • Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards and analysis of marketing and communications campaigns to determine effectiveness. • Work with Registration/Business Systems Team to build and manage workflows, reports and dashboards • Utilize CRM to manage sales-specific marketing automation (ie. drip campaigns, sales follow-ups, etc.) • Attend Data Working Group meetings as needed assure the quality of contact data used in sales initiatives and sales inquiry workflows
