Lipscomb University seeks an innovative and seasoned leader to serve in the role of Assistant Vice President of Advancement Services (AVP). The incoming AVP is charged with building upon the strengths of Lipscomb's Advancement Services team, further modernizing and enhancing the engine of this already successful division. In this critical leadership role, the AVP is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate advancement infrastructure is in place to support advancement and alumni relations at Lipscomb and that donor expectations are met and exceeded.
The AVP provides strategic insight, develops business policy and approves processes, which anticipate the University's needs as it relates to fundraising data processing and the dissemination of information. The AVP will direct day-to-day operations of knowledge management functions and ensure that all team members have a solid understanding of the fundraising programs, strategies and information systems, and are accountable for the integrity of the database, currently Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, and compliant with sound data management policies and practices. The AVP will actively engage Advancement and Advancement Services professionals and professional groups such as CASE, AASP Professionals to improve and enhance programs, database operations, and fundraising support as well as operate at all times in accordance with the Donor Bill of Rights.
