The Clinical Research Startup Coordinator works in coordination with the other Study Startup Team members to perform comprehensive study startup support. The Clinical Research Startup Coordinator will be responsible for administrative tasks required to support daily central operations, internal portfolio management, correspondence and scheduling with internal stakeholders and external industry partners. The position will report to the Startup Operations Manager in CRS.
This position is not required to be on campus daily.
Create, manage, and archive central startup team tools and resources required to support startup team daily operations, communications and records from study assignment to final handoff.
Facilitate and manage distribution of weekly updates to internal and external partners.
Coordinate and facilitate scheduling of study kickoff meetings, Site Initiation Visits (SIVs) and study handoff meetings on behalf of study startup team with study teams, service areas and external industry partners in support of study startup timeline.
Facilitate and manage Training Matrix, detailed study-specific vendor access/training and study supply shipment details throughout the study startup process in preparation for site activation/enrollment.
Manage and maintain study startup team master contact logs.
Prepare and facilitate central vendor site qualification processes on behalf of study team in preparation for site activation/enrollment.
Prepare and facilitate internal departmental account registrations/activations on behalf of study team in preparation for site activation/enrollment.
Obtain and facilitate site initiation document completion/resolution throughout the study startup process.
Attend and assist study startup team in facilitation and documentation of SIVs on behalf of study teams and service areas.
Facilitate and manage final distribution eDocs and handoff correspondence to internal and external partners.
Provide administrative supports for study startup shared mailbox and Teams working environment
Assist and support Study Startup Team members to maximize bandwidth and expedite study startup timelines, broader consortium goals and initiatives as needed.
2-3 years working in clinical research environment
Ability to read and operationalize protocol materials
Clinical research related certification preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Word & Excel, Acrobat, Outlook
