The University of Tennessee Foundation (UTFI) is seeking a Senior Advancement Assistant for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville campus. Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) for the Advancement Office this position supports advancement directors in various colleges and serves as a liaison for assigned advancement directors and staff, campus and system personnel, and external constituencies of the university, such as community and business leaders, alumni, donors, and friends of the university. This position will also assist with gift planning projects and events. This individual will also be responsible for answering phone lines, monitor incoming mail, and coordinating travel for the AVC and assigned advancement directors. Additional tasks include updating monthly reports, coordinating reservations for alumni, donors, or friends of the university, preparing and editing communications (thank you notes, letters, etc.), and processing incoming gifts.
