The newly established Research Administration (RA) department brings together Fred Hutchs Shared Resources and the scientific administration of Fred Hutchs IRC (Integrated Research Centers), Faculty Affairs, HICOR (Hutchinson Institute for Cancer Outcomes Research), STTR (Seattle Translational Tumor Research), Global Oncology and the Cancer Consortium Programs. The department seeks a project coordinator II to support the RA Vice President and RA Director of Program and Strategy. Specifically, the incumbent will support cross-departmental projects and the Immunotherapy Integrated Research Center.

Supporting RA Director of Programs and Strategy
Supporting Immunotherapy Integrated Research Center (IIRC) projects
Coordinate agenda, materials, action items, and outcomes for RA leadership meetings
Develop processes to track projects and milestones for RA and IIRC
Support Immunotherapy IRC projects and events
Collect and track metrics for RA department and IIRC strategic initiatives
Coordinate communication across RA (i.e., department newsletter, internal comms)
Coordinate and track department staff requirements (team goals, training compliance, etc.)
Other projects and tasks as assigned
Bachelors degree required and a minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
Must be organized and have strong attention to detail and quality of work
Ability to develop, plan and implement short- and long-range goals
Excellent communication skills ability to communicate clearly and concisely with executives, faculty and staff of all levels as well as external high-level professionals, their staff and vendors; ability to draft communications to all levels of staff
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to identify and take advantage of new opportunities, best practices and potential partnerships
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, plan-ahead, problem-solve, and meet goals in a deadline-driven environment
Experience in project planning and tracking
Experience in meeting coordination and agenda planning
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite on PC Platforms; SharePoint
