RESPONSIBILITIES: The Operations Assistant plays a key role in supporting PRIM&R’s administrative and program activities by providing top-notch customer service related to event registrations, membership applications, and internal operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serving as the front-line member of the customer service team, responding to phone and email inquiries on the main phone line, and for info@ and registration@ email inboxes
Processing registration forms for conferences, memberships, webinars, and other educational programs
Assisting with various accounting activities, including billing, invoicing, payments, refunds, etc.
Keeping inventory of office supplies, overseeing office equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, and working with the building management and equipment vendors
Ordering and shipping all supplies to PRIM&R conferences
Assisting the Managing Director in human resources and finance committee activities (e.g., meeting coordination and minutes, onboarding support for new staff members, fun committee coordination, etc.)
Additional special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills; be highly organized and detail focused, with an emphasis on accuracy. They must be able to use independent judgment and problem solve, be flexible, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high functioning office environment. 1-2 years related experience is ideal, nonprofit work history is helpful, a college degree preferred. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe is a necessity; experience with AMS and/or CRM databases and QuickBooks preferred. Occasional overnight travel may be required to assist at PRIM&R events.

Additional Salary Information: SALARY & BENEFITS: PRIM&R offers a competitive, full benefits package (medical, dental, 401k, paid time off, flexible work schedule, telecommuting, summer hours, commuter support, etc.). We are within walking distance to several transportation options, the Public Garden, and a variety of restaurants. This is a full-time position. While we are currently working remotely, ideally, we are looking for a candidate who is able to go into the office on a regular basis. The salary for this role is $38,000.
