The Florida Theatre operates its own box office and call center. The Assistant Box Office Manager reports to the Director of Ticketing and assists with daily management of the box office and its staff. General computer proficiency is essential. Prior experience with ticketing, and donor database systems is desirable. Enthusiasm and motivation are vital skills, and you must like dealing with people.
This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. Days, nights and weekends are required.

About The Florida Theatre
ASSISTANT BOX OFFICE MANAGER. The Florida Theatre in downtown Jacksonville, Florida has an immediate opening for an Assistant Box Office Manager. This is a full-time salaried position with the full range of benefits. Reporting to the Director of Ticketing, the Assistant Box Office Manager manages the box office and shift staffs of up to four part-timers in the absence of the Ticketing Director, ensuring that policies, procedures and controls are consistently applied to ensure a good customer experience, and the ticket inventory and cash receipts are properly accounted for. Prior ticket industry, retail, and customer relation experience are highly desirable. Experience with the TicketForce platform is desirable, but not required. Computer fluency is required. A high school diploma is required; at least some higher education is preferred. This is a full-time job at one of the most attended performing arts venues in the country.
