The American College of Financial Services (“The College”), a regionally accredited, non- profit higher education institution located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and visionary inaugural Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy and Operations Officer (“CSOO”). The CSOO position is uniquely situated to have a transformational impact on strategy and operations across the institution, allowing The College to achieve its ambitious goals over the coming years. Reporting to the President and CEO, the CSOO will collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to develop, implement, and sustain enterprise-wide strategies that support both the development of new innovative programming and the growth of existing programming across the institution.

Success in this important role will require strong business acumen as well as broad strategic planning experience combined with operations know-how. Compelling candidates will bring significant leadership experience in a matrixed reporting structure in organizations with recurring revenue growth; expertise in problem identification and problem solving; the ability to build consensus; excellent written and oral communication skills; a personal style that engenders trust and confidence across multiple stakeholders; and comfort with complex and ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring ten or more years of experience in senior strategic planning, operations, and/or consulting roles, preferably in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or a corporate environment. Applicants should be familiar and comfortable with the complex interplay of strategy and operations in mission-driven organizations like The College. An advanced degree is preferred but not required.
