Our Financial Reporting Accountant will be essential in preparing our quarterly and annual SEC filings and other external and internal reporting. You will connect with teams across the company, gaining an understanding of the business, and researching technical accounting matters. Collaborate with accounting and other teams to set target dates and processes to prepare the information needed for SEC filings and other publicly presented information
Prepare quarterly and annual financial documents, including all disclosures required for critical accounting areas
Tag filings to ensure XBRL compliance
Develop, produce and analyze GAAP-basis financial documents on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for management reviews
Prepare quarterly and ad hoc investor relations reporting and information presentation
Work closely with external auditors to facilitate financial documents review/audit and SOX audit; coordinate audit requests and provide materials as needed
Test design and operating effectiveness for SOX business process controls and identify deficiencies
BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA is preferred
At least 1-2 years of professional financial accounting experience, preferably at a large public accounting firm
SEC reporting and XBRL experience preferred, with good knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations
Solid understanding of Workiva SEC filing software is a plus but not required
