University of Southern California The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy invites applicants for an adjunct faculty position in the area of data and analytics in planning and development processes. The successful candidate should possess a Masterâs degree with strong training in planning, real estate, or development. The candidate will be able to teach graduate-level methods courses related to one or more of the following areas: data visualization, data communication, and data analysis for planning and real estate. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations. Courses that the candidate could be expected to teach include the following: Methods and techniques for data visualization; application to planning and development contexts; critical assessment of data presentation approaches and methods. Â Adjunct instructor must be a critical consumer of data communications; responsibilities include delivery of course content, scheduling office hours and being accessible to students as appropriate, and grading. Each instructor is expected to provide students with a syllabus outlining the course goals, schedule, and all requirements for the course under the direction of the Department Chair.
