Department: Schar School of Policy and Government Web Announcement: Undergraduate Recruiter The George Mason University Schar School of Policy and Government invites applications for an Undergraduate Recruiter. About the Department: The Schar School of Policy and Government provides undergraduate and graduate students the skills, knowledge, and analytic abilities to be leaders and managers in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Responsibilities: The Undergraduate Recruiter is a key member of the Schar School's undergraduate admissions effort. The Recruiter will be a positive, knowledgeable, friendly representative of the Schar School whose responsibility will be to interface, one-on-one and at larger events, with prospective and admitted undergraduates and their families. The Recruiter will generate lists of prospective students and build relationships with them in order to recruit them to Schar. The position will also coordinate outreach to current Mason students and student organizations to generate interest in Schar School programs and concentrations. Secondarily, the position will tackle a wide range of administrative assignments pertaining to undergraduate recruitment. Additional duties include:
