ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MATHEMATICS SUMMARY OF POSITION: Mathematics and computer science faculty at Whitworth University operate in a friendly atmosphere that encourages interaction between faculty and students. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and the ability to teach a wide range of undergraduate mathematics courses. PRIMARY TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES: OTHER OPPORTUNITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: STARTING DATE: July 1, 2021 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The department will consider candidates who have a Ph.D. in mathematics with preference for those whose focus in applied mathematics. Individuals who have completed all but their Ph.D. dissertation (ABD) from an accredited institution or international equivalent will also be considered.
