Department: QENO - 32422 Brief Summary of Work for this position: The QENO Director will direct and facilitate the creation and delivery of professional development curriculum through a variety of mediums, as well as, programs for internal and external stakeholders. In collaboration with the AVC of Community Engagement and the QENO Advisory Council, the Director will develop and lead the implementation of the strategic plan to ensure QENO meets UNCW initiatives and departmental goals. This position will pursue and secure multiple revenue streams to support the QENO program and meet the needs of nonprofits, faculty, students and staff. The Director will establish and manage the department budget (~$500K) and ensure compliance with multiple funding sources' guidelines (state/federal/foundation). This position will also establish and provide oversight of a comprehensive outcomes measurement system to ensure the effectiveness of the QENO program. The Director will cultivate and leverage internal/external relationships to advance research, student learning opportunities and strengthen the nonprofit sector. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Masters degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Policy or Social Work.
