The administrative coordinator provides efficient and professional administrative support to the EVP, as well as other staff.
Essential Job Functions
Perform a variety of administrative tasks
Respond to incoming e-mails in a timely manner using good judgment and grammar in all written interactions
Triage telephone calls
Assist members with transactions, dues payment, meeting registrations, membership applications, etc.
Prepare routine member correspondence
Manage the Fellow of ASRS and honor award programs
Manage collection of disclosure forms
Assist in responding to inquiries related to the abstract submission process and requests for CME certificates
Assist with generating and manipulating reports as needed (Word merges, Excel, PDFs)
Assist with the preparation of conferences, board meetings and seminars
Handles ordering office supplies and maintenance of equipment, including interaction with vendors for tech support.
Perform general administrative/project coordination duties as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Knowledge: College degree preferred; 1-3 years’ experience in an association or education setting
Ability to work in a team environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Excel, Word, and Publisher; Must know how to use Mail-Merge features in Word.

Some weekend/evening work or travel may be required.
