Cristo Rey Columbus prepares students to excel in college, in career, and in character. Founded in 2013, the school is currently in its eighth year of operation.

Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in education or in the primary teaching area is required.
A Master’s degree is preferred.
Teaching experience in a Catholic or an independent school is preferred.
A minimum of three professional references.
Official transcripts.
A completed background check and attendance at a Protecting God’s Children session.
Ability and willingness to teach both in person and virtually. (Due to the pandemic we are currently in hybrid mode, with half of our students in the building each day and half participating virtually. We can and will shift to fully in person or fully virtual modes as circumstances allow/require.)
Knowledge of Zoom and Google Meet video conferencing platforms.
The ideal start date is Jan. 18, 2021.

The math department at Cristo Rey Columbus participates in the Silicon Valley Math Initiative (SVMI) through the Cristo Rey Network. As part of this our math teachers attend additional SVMI training and meetings. They then collaboratively work with the math department in implementing SVMI practices in their classrooms.
Due to the pandemic, teachers are part of implementing and upholding strict health and safety protocols, including temperature checks and health assessments.
