Chapter office of a national association is in search of a full-time bookkeeper/administrative assistant. Duties would include, but not limited to:
Payroll (as well as payroll tax deposits)
Posting jobs on our website for members, and invoicing customers.
Preparation of bank deposits
Cash management for 12 sections of our state chapter, as well as working closely with section treasurer to ensure all expenses/income are correctly logged to each section.
Assisting Executive Director in preparing financials to be presented to Board members.
Assisting the Executive Director during the Chapter’s annual conference events.
Must be able to travel for annual conference.
Various office administrative tasks as required
Must be EXTREMELY familiar with Quickbooks, including the use of class codes. 5+ years bookkeeping experience preferred. Knowledge of Word and Excel also preferred. Prior non-profit experience preferred. Good customer service experience a MUST, as you will have contact with our member base as well as board members. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently in a small office environment.
