A small, award-winning association management company, based in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a career-minded individual who is energetic, detailed-orientated, dedicated, and understands the importance of serving others. The candidate should also have a strong work ethic, good people skills, and integrity. This position is being offered on behalf of a long time client, a statewide, not-for-profit medical society.
DUTIES: The successful candidate will be involved in planning, implementing, marketing, and coordinating a statewide online certificate program for clinicians in post-acute and long-term care. Other duties may include website/mobile app coordination, social media, and the use of technology; marketing and public relations; general administrative services, proof reading, and clerical duties.
Experience with continuing medical/health care education, newsletter page layout, and sales experience a plus but not required! We will provide the training.
* Be the chief customer service point of contact * Ensure registrant satisfaction * High-level customer service for clients' members, registrants, and customers * Understand the unique needs of the post-acute-care segment of the health-care continuum
* Manage and maintain an online, virtual platform * Prepare routine status reports * Other duties as needed
The person who fills this position will work closely with the executive director. Must be able to handle all requests, both internal and external, efficiently, courteously, and professionally. Must be able to prioritize and organize workflow so all deadlines are met. Room for future advancement.
SKILLS NEEDED: * Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, or Access. Familiarity with Associated Press style manual, Adobe Creative Suite including PhotoShop, also a plus. * Must have excellent customer-services skills. * Must be outgoing, friendly, and well-spoken. * Must have good communication skills, project and deadline management experience, be able to pay attention to accuracy and detail, experience in developing and maintaining a satisfied customer base, be very self-motivated, driven, and teachable.
