The Digital Civil Society Lab (DCSL) is a research initiative of the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (Stanford PACS) in H&S. DCSL seeks to understand, inform, protect and promote civil society in a digitally dependent world. Our goal is to foster a thriving and independent digital civil society rooted in a democratic commitment to freedom of association and assembly, freedom of speech and privacy. DCSL seeks a creative and resourceful Program Manager to provide strategic, operational and programmatic support to the lab under the direction of the lab co-directors. The position requires someone who is multi-faceted and can work with the core PACS operations and external relations team to support the administration of fellowships, monitor award spending, provide budget justifications, oversee the design and execution of virtual and in-person convenings, manage external vendors as well as student interns, support working relationships with partners across campus, and create and manage Lab newsletters, website updates, and other communication tasks . The ideal candidate will have strong program management and organizational skills along with familiarity with academic research and financial administration.
