EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of Colorado.
Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado.
Controlled substance license with current DEA license number.
Eligible or currently possess a Medicare/Medicaid UPIN number.
Eligible or currently credentialed at local hospitals.
Eligible to bill insurance for palliative care and symptom management visits.
One or more years of working experiences as an NP. One or more years working experience as an RN preferred.
Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and hospice standards of practice.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must successfully pass agency required background checks and drug test.
Must have $1M/$3M professional liability insurance and TRU will reimburse the premium costs
Must possess a valid driver’s license, provide proof of insurance (a copy of your “Declarations Page” indicating you have $100k/$300k Bodily Injury/$100k Property Damage coverage), and have reliable transportation.
Must comply with agency health screening requirements.
Must be able to demonstrate computer competency.
