University Advancement and Career Services Coordinator Job Summary:
Franklin Pierce’s University Advancement office is looking for an enthusiastic and well-rounded individual to join the team as our University Advancement & Career Services Coordinator.
In this position, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Advancement team, Advancement Stewardship and support to the Lloyd and Helen Ament Astmann ’69 Career Services. You will use your strong organizational and creative skills to create and maintain protocols for recognition and stewardship of gifts. Working within our small team, your strong writing skills will be used to provide regular reports, presentations and communications with donors. Your energy, high motivation and can-do attitude will be essential in this busy role.
As a detail-oriented professional, you possess the ability to think strategically. In this role, you can use your strong communication skills to interact professionally and develop relationships with a diverse range of constituencies. Education and Qualifications:
The skills and abilities that will possess include:
Previous experience working in a fundraising position.
Experience in higher education or nonprofit fundraising is preferred.
An Associate’s degree or higher.
Experience using databases, preferably Raisers Edge, is desirable.
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, and an ability to balance multiple tasks with accuracy.
High proficiency using Microsoft Office products.
