Visitation School is seeking a full time Human Resources Manager to manage a comprehensive human resource function that enhances Visitation School’s organizational capabilities and promotes employee satisfaction and retention. With dual reporting to the Head of School and the Director of Finance and Operations, this position will also provide clarification and guidance to management regarding the implementation and interpretation of Visitation School’s administrative and personnel policies and procedures.

A BA or BS degree in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration, or related field.
A minimum of four years of experience managing the human resources function in an educational, nonprofit or other business environment.
Experience interacting with employees and managers in response to HR matters related to COVID-19 (protocols, FFCRA, CARES Act).
Proficiency with payroll software programs, ADP preferred.
Experience with payroll and benefits administration, including vendor management.
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, compliance and performance management.
Good judgement with an aptitude to set priorities, analyze data, prepare conclusions and handle multiple assignments with tight deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Solid and successful experience with conflict resolution.
Be an organized, dependable self-starter who takes initiative in addressing the needs of the school.
