Position Summary The Supportive Services & Facilities Program Manager is responsible for the planning, improving and implementation of services provided to youth and their families. They will help to facilitate Good Seed’s mission ensuring day-to-day program management and evaluation including participating in project development and planning activities, design and implementation of the programs, data collection, management and analysis of data to improve health outcomes. In addition, they are to develop, implement and maintain a successful strategy to strengthen community participation in program design, evaluation, and policy advocacy.
A successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and2 to 3 years of management experience in Human Services including prior experience in case management. The ideal candidate is someone who is analytical and compassionate and driven to improve the lives of others. This individual must also be comfortable working with a very diverse population.
Directly supervise case management staff including ongoing monitoring of work quality, conducting regular performance evaluations, developing performance improvement plans, coaching, mentoring and training of new hires.
Manage interns, GROW workers, volunteers, peer advocates, and program associates.
Review work done by staff and volunteers with a focus on improving health outcomes and connection to services, provide support and assistance to assigned case managers including providing direct case management services to clients in the absence of the case manager(s).
Develop and implement curriculum on client-centered education.
Provide ongoing staff professional development training as determined by client/staff needs.
Identify community-based trainings and provide staff professional development and coordinate staff participation.
Coordinate building repairs with management & maintain supply inventory levels.
Maintain networking relationship with community service providers.
Maintain positive working relationships while maintaining the integrity of the facility.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum of 2 years of Management experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Prior experience with individual case plans and assessments
Experience in providing supportive services and advocacy, prior experience with high risk populations including crisis management
Must have excellent communication skills written and verbal
Must be flexible with scheduling and job responsibilities
Ability to perform outreach and be a team player
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment meeting competing deadlines
Quick response, sound decision making and crisis management skills
Culturally sensitive with an understanding of special family and youth issues
Willingness to foster a professional and welcoming environment in all interactions with clients, guest, vendors and colleagues, regardless of differing identities, backgrounds, beliefs and choices
Valid Driver’s License in the state of California
