Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Capital Area (HFHMCA) serving Hinds, Madison and Rankin counties is looking for a team player who is well qualified in accounting. This person will work with a high energy group to bring LOVE INTO ACTION by creating and selling safe, decent, affordable housing to the working poor. HFHMCA builds houses, community, and hope and needs someone to manage all financial issues associated with the work. This person will handle financial issues associated with employees, vendors, sub-contractors, and will work with homeowners who need help with delinquencies and insurance repairs.
The position is 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, M-F but additional work time may be required for fundraising events and unusual activities. This position offers benefits, retirement, PTO, and ESL. The Director of Finance position will be a member of the management team and will report directly to the Executive Director.
An accounting degree with at least 5 years of work experience is required. References are required. The salary is competitive. HFHMCA is an equal opportunity employer.
