Spectrum Nonprofit Services is looking for a new Associate to join our team in late summer / early Fall. This position plays a key role in our four-person organization, supporting a variety of activities from direct client service to operations and administration. In doing so, the Associate plays an important role in accomplishing our mission: to enable nonprofits to work more effectively as they better our society and enrich our lives.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Associate wears many “hats” at Spectrum. Three big categories capture the work of the Associate:
Support direct client service
Provide support for Principal and other consultants in delivering on client project objectives
Analyze qualitative and quantitative survey results
Conduct interviews with stakeholders to help analyze a nonprofit’s market
Prepare initial drafts of client deliverables
Assist in client meetings
Draft trainings on a variety of topics including organizational strategy, revenue strategy, and nonprofit finance
Manage business development activities
Develop and implement Spectrum’s business and practice development strategy
Lead intake process including initial prospective client conversations, proposal writing, and onboarding
Manage close out process including client satisfaction surveys and subsequent outreach
Draft and post content on social media
Curate regular cadence of blog posts
Compile quarterly newsletters
Ensure smooth internal operations
Oversee monthly invoicing and calculate revenue projections
Manage memberships and subscriptions to professional resources and technology tools
This is a regular, full-time, exempt position based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with the possibility of some work in our Chicago office. Very limited travel required.
