Collaborate and strategize with Board of Directors and staff to create, manage and implement an annual giving plan for individual, private foundation and corporate donors
Develop strategies for a major gifts program and coordinate the cultivation and solicitation of mid-level and major gifts; personally managing a significant portfolio of mid-level and major donors and re-engaging lapsed donors
Collaborate with the communications team to effectively create and execute fundraising campaigns and appeals across multiple online platforms, building an effective recurring donor program
Research foundations, corporations, grants, and new major donors to establish an active pipeline for new donor cultivation
Develop foundation and corporate proposals, including proposals for brand partnership opportunities; coordinate the production of necessary collateral materials for each submission with communications and program team
Seek out opportunities for and conduct public speeches to raise awareness and funds for the organization
Five years minimum experience in nonprofit fundraising, or other outside sales with experience personally securing gifts of $75,000+
Ability to work in a small, fast-paced organization, bringing a team spirit and a positive startup mindset and attitude.
Ability to work some nights and weekends for events and meetings
Ability to travel, as needed
Experience executing digital fundraising campaigns and using Salesforce preferred
