Responsible for managing all operational-level tasks related to Villa’s fundraising including annual fund, auction, outreach and development events, major gifts, and donor stewardship. The position will be integral to helping the Development team achieve its goals to be strategic and as efficient as possible.
Maintain and update database tracking of all donor records including acknowledgment of donations (Raiser’s Edge);
Assist with the coordination of all mailings including newsletter (Mailchimp), individual solicitations, invitations to special events, and regular content updates for supporters;
Design, run, and ensure accuracy of database generated reports and reconcile records with the Business Office;
Ensure all members of the community (parents, volunteers, faculty and staff, donors, etc.) feel appreciated for their contributions to the school – no matter how big or small;
Event coordination for all major school events – responsible for set up and clean up and most especially for leading events with a high attention to detail (from the logistic to the aesthetic to the interpersonal);
Support the alumni program, including but not limited to reunions, and communication flow between alumnae and the school.

Strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency with Google Suite, and direct experience working in Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising software.
Impeccable writing and editing ability, including a variety of formats and genres.
Ability to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule (some evening meetings required, and very occasionally, weekend days)

3 – 5 years demonstrated nonprofit fundraising experience
Successful experience with event coordination and project management.
Experience managing a team and working with key volunteers.
Experience working in communications, marketing, and/or development.
Education, Certificates, and Licensure:
Developing the competencies above typically involves formal education and real-world experience.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
You will work primarily in an office environment. Physical demands include listening, talking, walking, sitting, standing, lifting modest payloads (rarely more than 25 lbs.), typing on keyboards, and operating a range of office equipment.
