The Temporary Project Manager serves as the primary intake manager for college communications projects. This position will also build strong relationships and serve as the primary contact for clients to ensure that their needs and goals are being met. Reviews projects with the department director to ensure that projects are properly and efficiently staffed.
The department of College Communications develops strategies and produces multimedia marketing materials for student recruitment, special events, fund raising, alumni and institutional relations, and other campus clients. The project manager will work closely with clients and creative staff members from original request through delivery to ensure a high-quality product and client satisfaction.
This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, non-benefit eligible temporary position, at least 12 weeks in duration from early to mid-March through mid to late June 2020.

The successful candidate has three or more years of project management experience. Must possess advanced verbal and written skills, analytical thinking, personal organization and interpersonal dynamics, and a clear understanding of marketing communications. Preferred qualifications include experience in an education or nonprofit setting and project management certification is a plus.
