Located in a historic factory building between Porter & Davis Squares, TERC has a great work environment with a casual dress code. We are a relatively small organization but we are tech heavy for our size.
About the Role:
This is an entry level, onsite, position providing general Facilities office support. This role is part-time (20 hours per week with flexible schedule) and funded though 2020. TERC is an all Mac environment; familiarity with Apple hardware and software is helpful but not necessary. A successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, but also be able to tackle small projects on their own.
The successful candidate will assist with general office support tasks such as:
Maintaining clean and organized public spaces and supplies
Updating signage and noting purchase needs as necessary
Handling incoming/outgoing mail
Updating documentation and performing data entry as directed
Assisting with office moves, special event setup/breakdown, and basic AV needs
Responding to general facilities requests via email, phone, and in person, escalating as needed
Handling small projects as assigned.
Requirements: Highschool degree or equivalent. Good written and oral communication skills.
