The English Department of Bowling Green State University seeks a poet to serve as the College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Visiting Writer.
The successful candidate will be in residence spring 2021; teach one workshop in our BFA program and one workshop in our MFA program; give a public reading and a lecture; and advise theses.

1) At least a master’s degree, MFA, or Ph.D., preferably in Creative Writing by time of employment.
2) At least one book or collection of poetry published by a commercial or nonprofit publisher (including small press) or university press or two books or collections if the degree is not in Creative Writing.
3) Documented critical recognition consistent with a writer of national reputation (e.g., positive written reviews, awards, invited readings, scholar-in-residences).
4) Documented record of quality undergraduate and graduate teaching, (e.g., positive teaching evaluations).
