The Deamer Group is currently in search of a Development Coordinator for a youth-focused nonprofit. This position is a full-time position in a NW Chicago Suburb. Qualified candidates must submit a resume for consideration. Please review the full description for details.
Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Development Coordinator will be responsible for database management, data entry, stewardship, administrative and support tasks, and providing support for the planning and execution of special events. A successful candidate will have previous Blackbaud experience, preferably with Raiser’s Edge NXT or RE7.
Provide database support including data entry and clean-up, gift processing and acknowledgements, merging records, and running reports
Assist with stewardship mailings, calls, and follow up
Reconcile funds in the database with the Business Office
Serve as RE Database Administrator
Manage database including maintenance, user accounts, global changes, gift entry, reporting, queries, and data clean-up
Support event planning and execution
Participate in special event preparation and set-up
Provide general clerical assistance
Assist with volunteer scheduling and follow-up
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum of two years of experience in Raiser’s Edge required; Raiser’s Edge NXT or RE7 Preferred
1+ years of demonstrated special events experience
Experience with Greater Giving preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive material and information
Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Experience in an Advancement/Development team a PLUS
