Membership Development is responsible for all activities relative to member recruitment and retention as well as coordination of activities relative to member services/support programs and records management, with support services to CSIA’s certification programs.
Develop/refine and execute member recruitment program for NCSG, based on mutually determined goals set by board.
Follow up with lapsed and expired NCSG members monthly to encourage retention.
Maintain membership recruitment and retention reports monthly.
Gather demographic information relative to our industry to develop and continuously improve member loyalty.
Maintain established membership benefits. Investigate and recommend new benefits to increase the value of membership.
Serve as staff liaison to volunteer membership committee.
Ensure database accurately reflects active and prospective members. (Go through all returned mail and requests sent in via fax, email or snail mail.)
Assist Education Coordinator with promotional items in Adobe Creative Design
Development/refine and execute recruitment and retention of CSIA Certified Chimney Sweeps, based on mutually determined goals set by board.
Follow up with lapsed and expired CSIA certified sweeps monthly to encourage retention.
Put together promotional material to send out to prospective and current members and certified sweeps with the assistance of the NCSG and CSIA Marketing Team
Work with NCSG Marketing Director on material for industry related survey questions for membership
Recommend content for NCSG publications relevant to membership benefits (Sweeping, Facebook, eNewslink)- work with NCSG marketing director
Promotional, signage etc relative to convention
Develop/refine and execute sponsorship opportunities for supplier members of NCSG at national convention and for CSIA courses; other
Assist with annual convention planning process and on-site convention management.
Coordinate tradeshow booth sales for National Convention
Trademark and Ethics violations
Process trademark permission requests and infringement complaints for NCSG and CSIA. Process and serve as administrative coordinator for all Code of Ethics complaints, with the assistance of the ethics committee chair and committee members.
Assist team with answering incoming phone calls and addressing caller needs
Facilitate logo/ethics questions from sweeps and consumers
Facilitate with Office Coordinator
assembling new member, renewing member, and prospective member kits
Send out prospect, new members and renewing member kits.
Distribute member tenure pins.
Assist office coordinator as need with letters related to membership and certification
Assist convention registrar both on and off site.
Accommodate members or certified sweeps who do not yet have companies and keep in contact with them to update information
Maintain position related SOPs
Other duties as assigned by Executive Director
Works at the CSIA Technology Center office.
Evenings and weekends are required for national convention
Less than 10% traveling will be required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent on the job training.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Adobe Creative Design experience a plus
