ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 2, ALUMNI EXPERIENCE , Sloan School of Management , to assume a vital and integral role on the Sloan Alumni Experience team. Will support alumni events including reunion weekend, the largest annual alumni event; support reunion volunteer management; provide data and reporting support; assist with managing budgets and overall tracking; and manage alumni database coding to ensure alumni event activity is accurate. Responsibilities also include managing the administrative elements of events such as creating registration forms; processing registrations; writing and preparing communications; and preparing event materials, name tags, attendee lists, briefing materials, etc. Will also serve as a key point of contact for general inquires and requests made in the office. Will report to the associate director of alumni experience and events.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years of administrative, office, or related experience; skill applying the application of standards and processes in a specific administrative, technical, or operations area; strong interpersonal, analytical, logistical support, customer service, and verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with alumni databases and standard PC applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint; initiative; attention to detail; and the ability to support and anticipate the needs of a fast-paced team within a complex organization and help achieve department goals. PREFERRED : customer service, sales, or marketing experience in a university, professional school, or large nonprofit organization; experience working with volunteers, senior staff, and administration; and technical experience with iModules and/or Cvent.
