NACCAP is proud to announce the search for its next Executive Director. This person will succeed Chant Thompson who has served faithfully and with excellence in this role since 1993.
NACCAP exists to provide professional development, support, and encouragement for Christian College, Graduate School, and Seminary admissions personnel and Christian High School guidance counselors across North America. More than 300 colleges, universities, high schools, seminaries and graduate schools enjoy the benefits of NACCAP membership at present.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Executive Director will plan, organize, and direct the business of NACCAP and its headquarters office in accordance with the constitution, policies, and procedures established by the membership and the Board of Directors. He/she will work to continually advance Christian education as a viable option for students. In this role, he/she will serve undergraduate, graduate, adult, professional, seminary and high school constituencies in those efforts by interfacing with and providing relevant growth, networking and outreach opportunities for each. The position reports to NACCAP’s Board of Directors, oversees a staff of 10 and a budget over $2,000,000 and is based out of the organization’s offices in Huntington, Indiana.

The new Executive Director would start their service as Executive Director-Elect in the summer of 2020 and assume full leadership of the organization January 1, 2021.
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university required
Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree obtained from NACCAP member institution preferred
At least eight years of experience as a successful chief enrollment officer or closely related college senior leadership position is required.
Experience in Christian college enrollment leadership strongly preferred.
Proven leadership experience including team development, working with a board, crisis management, public relations and networking with strategic partners.
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills; builds strong interpersonal relationships and able to lead, motivate, and inspire others.
Adaptable to and conversant in changes in technologies, delivery systems, and the landscape of higher education
A vibrant and personal relationship with Jesus Christ required
Active involvement in a local church expected
