In support of NACE’s strategic objective to increase member engagement, administer and coordinate all activities and communications related to all volunteer opportunities and member online forums. Support and drive adoption of NACE’s member forums through project management, community site moderation, and content creation. Provide oversight, working with staff and members at all levels to build an association-wide capacity to identify, recruit, orient, develop, and recognize volunteers with the goal of ensuring a positive experience for all individual and a significant return on investment for the association. Including:
Collaborate with members and staff to create and manage meaningful volunteer opportunities and engagement activities thereby increasing member satisfaction and retention.
Efficiently direct the recruiting of volunteers by developing and implementing and maintaining processes that have minimal barriers into the volunteer candidate pool.
Create and direct a fiscally responsible volunteer recognition program budget providing consistent, timely, and meaningful recognition aligned with the time and effort required for each type of volunteer activity.
Create and curate content on member forums. Monitor discussions, postings, and identify content trends within the community. Alert appropriate staff as new content trends arise.
Develop and implement a community engagement plan based on best practices to increase engagement.
Provide member forum training resources, guidelines, and policies to internal and external audiences.
Evangelize community activity internally and hold other departments accountable for their role in ensuring the community’s success.
Oversee all technical aspects of the community. This includes working with the community vendor to address, resolve, and communicate any issues related to the features and functionality of the platform and implementing new features as necessary.
Evaluate the community strategy on a periodic basis to ensure that it continues to support the organization’s strategic priorities.
Responsible for the NACE Awards Program and acting staff liaison to the Awards Committee.
Evaluate branded item offerings to membership and how products are offered through the association.
