The Palo Alto Veterans Institute for Research (PAVIR) is seeking a Research Assistant to help manage the day-to-day conduct and workflow of Team Participatory System Dynamics (TeamPSD), which is working to change the way health care quality improvement decisions are made across all layers of the Veterans Health Administration. Duties will include supporting Team PSD "Headquarters" (HQ) with overall management and coordination of the research study, and in particular, activities related to coordination of Team PSD workgroups from around the country, and the activities of the Modeling to Learn team meetings with VA staff. This is a regular, full time (40 hours/week), non-exempt (hourly-paid) position. Job location: Menlo park, CA Benefits:

Requirements: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in psychology, social sciences, administration, design, communications, marketing, or related field is required. EXPERIENCE: Required: 1 year of experience supporting research activities (including experience accumulated while completing a college degree); Desired: 2 years or more of experience supporting research activities, particularly in health care. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Environmental Conditions / Physical Demands: Physical: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, sitting and standing for long periods of time, bending, repetitive motion, etc. Environmental: Office environment.
