As a member of our Executive team, you can engage both AWWA members and staff by providing exceptional service
Our Executive Assistant is the primary administrative support for our Deputy CEO and assists in supporting the daily operations of the Executive team.
Staff Support: Ensure that Deputy CEO has the resources needed to meet deadlines and goals. You will coordinate projects and schedules, create and maintain systems for tracking work, and maintain organizational files and records. Additionally, you’ll coordinate internal communication between staff including internal email updates, conference calls, and meetings.
Volunteer Management: Support Deputy CEO by organizing and providing assistance to a variety of committees (minutes, notebooks, agendas), materials for the Board for Directors, governance and assist with special projects by conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, drafting reports, and preparing documents, presentations and other collateral materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications - Associate's degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Minimum of five (5) years' administrative support experience including a minimum of two (2) years' experience supporting an executive required. Experience working with member-based association preferred. Significant and detailed knowledge of an association - its governance, policies, procedures, customers, the market and industry in which AWWA operates strong preferred. Proficient using Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, Ppwerpoint, Outlook, and SharePoint; familiarity with database programs.
Candidate should demonstrate a successful track record of exercising independent judgment and discretion to solve problems along with strong relationship building skills for building and sustaining effective support structures across departments.
Compensation dependent upon qualifications; pay range is targeted between $26.25 and $26.75 per hour and is paired with comprehensive benefits package that includes: Immediate eligibility and vesting for retirement savings plan with 6% employer contribution and 3% employer match upon hire. Excellent medical, dental, and vision plans with generous employer cost sharing. Three paid time off accounts (vacation, sick and personal)
