Summary:Under theguidance of the Donor Relations Manager, the Donor Relations Coordinator willassist with programming logistics for donor acknowledgement, recognition andstewardship for Cook Children's Health Foundation. The primary purpose of thisposition is to create and draft donor stewardship communications and coordinatea best-in-class Acknowledgment and Recognition Process for donor gifts made tothe Foundation.
Bachelor's degree required.
Three years' experience in a nonprofit organization withpreference for experience in donor relations and stewardship.
Demonstrated writing skills; experience writing for donorsand executive team is a plus.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverseconstituencies, meet deadlines, be self-motivated and work independently.
This position requires accuracy and attention to detail.
Exceptional computer literacy skills.
Strong team orientation and skill in working with a widerange of colleagues, including Directors of Philanthropy, Leadership teams,Marketing, Communications, Gift Processing and volunteers.
Strong organizational and project management skills and theability to establish priorities.
Experience with Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Creative Suite InDesign and Photoshop is preferred.
