As a member of the Social Worker team, you will be:
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Supervisor of Clinical Services and in accordance with state agency policies and procedures, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing counseling to persons who are referred via the Supervisor of Clinical Services.
Provides individual or group counseling to assigned individuals.
Facilities the setting of measurable outcomes with and on behalf of individuals requiring supports to facilitate the fulfillment of their individual dreams, hopes, and desires.
Lays a foundation for support of personal growth based on Helping Hand’s standards of performance principle that each individual can grow in one or more personals dimensions: i.e. mental or emotional, and that he/she has abilities that can be maximized.
Provides consistent monitoring of individuals’ progress in treatment that is not compromised by competing loyalties or responsibilities.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities required.
Experience with autism spectrum disorders required.
