OBJECTIVE: Responsible for all editorial content and organizationwide communications, ensuring brand consistency while furthering the organization’s mission and goals.
Create overarching marketing plan, communications plan, and editorial calendar for a growing association with some 3,000 members
Source, plan, create, edit, and disseminate all newsletter and blog content, news releases, announcements, and other communications content
Oversee all content for association website
Serve as managing editor of ACES’ quarterly journal, Tracking Changes, overseeing both content planning and production
Source, schedule, manage, and moderate ACES’ twice-monthly Twitter chats
Manage all of ACES’ social media channels, writing content for varied audiences, maintaining media lists and contacts, disseminating messaging via appropriate channels, and engaging with communities
Promote all of ACES’ training programs, including conferences, webinars, and boot camps
Provide regular metrics, feedback, and engagement updates to leadership
Be aware of the “pulse” of the industry

Bachelor's degree in communications, English, marketing or related field
Superior writing and editing skills, demonstrated by past experience and an ability to pass ACES’ editing and writing tests
3-5 years of experience developing and executing targeted communications and campaigns
Availability to attend organization’s national conference in the spring
Flexibility for additional travel
Disposition of a self-starter
Experience in an association or nonprofit setting a plus
Exceptional strategic communication skills
Willingness to collaborate and ability to work well with others
Comfortable working in a remote environment
Telecommuting is allowed.
