RESPONSIBILITIES: The education program assistant plays a key role in supporting PRIM&R’s educational initiatives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting PRIM&R’s online learning programs, including preparing registration materials for live webinars, maintaining recorded webinar and online course library in the learning management system, administering access and maintaining subscriber base for online courses, tracking program statistics, moderating live webinars when needed, preparing webinar discussion guides and citations documents, providing technical support to learners, and supporting topic development efforts. May include assistance with new online learning project development.
Providing support for PRIM&R’s educational programs, such as Research Ethics Digest and other online and print publications; corresponding with education program contributors and speakers; and maintaining timelines, files and records as needed. May include assistance with new educational project development.
Managing organization-wide program evaluation efforts by creating and distributing evaluation surveys for all educational programs and events, preparing evaluation summary data, and sharing data with stakeholders.
Serving as a member of the customer service and registration team, which entails responding to general inquires, responding to attendee inquiries, processing memberships, event registrations, substitutions and transfers, etc.
Attending conferences to assist with conference and education-related activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills; be highly organized and detail focused, with an emphasis on accuracy. They must be able to use independent judgment and problem solve, be flexible, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high functioning office environment. 1-2 years related experience is ideal, nonprofit work history is helpful, a college degree preferred. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a necessity; experience with AMS and/or CRM databases preferred. Occasional overnight travel may be required to assist at PRIM&R events.
