The Senior Coordinator, Digital Communications & Technology position supports FamilyFarmed’s digital marketing and communications efforts. Utilizing social and other media, this position develops and delivers original content and creative ways to attract more stakeholders and promote our brand to ultimately increase traffic and engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies and FamilyFarmed’s mission. The Senior Coordinator is responsible for all graphic design (which may integrate typographic, photographic, video, illustrative and graphic elements) including layout and formatting of marketingcollateral, social media/web graphics, newsletter/presentation design and general web/print brand development assets. This role also supports basic office technology and networking functionality.The Senior Coordinator, Digital Communications & Technology position reports to the Director of Development & Operations.
Full-time, permanent, salaried, exempt and benefits-eligible.
Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 40 hours per week including occasional evenings and weekends.
This position is eligible for a weekly Remote Work Day after probationary period.
Maintain and update multiple websites using HTML and CSS
Coordinate art direction for postcards, web banner ads and other collateral
Record and edit video for FamilyFarmed archival and promotional purposes
Plan, design and deliver high-quality, dynamic creative content that adheres to branding standards
Coordinate digital marketing calendar, assets and related metrics
Compile, edit and regularly send digital newsletters to general and specific audiences in email marketing program
Plan, produce and post social media content and monitor all social media platforms
Monitor relevant information on external websites and provide updated information to partners
Maintain photo and logo libraries and routinely pull, edit, resize, crop and post graphics and photos
Assist with preparing presentations for external audiences
Respond to and troubleshoot feedback from public users and partners
Contribute to ongoing efforts to streamline and improve systems and processes
Coordinate contracts, production schedules and maintain ongoing relationships with graphic designers, printers and photographers
Monitor analytics and prepare reports
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, routers, modems, phones, smart televisions, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool or stepladder as necessary. At times, this position may be required to carry and set up banners and other marketing materials to outreach events on behalf of FamilyFarmed at locations external to FamilyFarmed’s offices. This would require carrying, lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting.

Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Graphic Design or relevant field
3 to 5 years of professional communications, social media and website management experience
Solid working knowledge of WordPress, Google for Business suite, Microsoft Office suite, HTML, CSS, multiple social media platforms, Constant Contact, and office-related equipment and networking functions
High-quality graphic design ability and proficiency in software applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and InDesign
Video recording, processing and editing experience
Professional experience and expertise managing multiple social media platforms
Experienced communicator able to write, edit and proofread communications for different audiences
Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
Professional experience implementing and maintaining office technologies
Preferred Education and Experience
In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of other coding/scripting languages, such as PHP
Professional experience developing and implementing marketing and PR campaigns
Professional experience with development, events, reporting, and evaluation
Passion for supporting nonprofits and the Good Food movement
Additional Salary Information: •Salary range: $55,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience and skill level
